Reigate College Ladies’ Rugby team puts on an impressive performance

Ladies' rugby team playing a game

Congratulations to the Ladies’ Rugby team for a brilliant performance in their recent match against Collyer’s.

It was a hard-fought game, and although the eventual score-line went Collyer’s way, there was some truly exceptional play from Reigate’s ladies demonstrating just how much they have developed as a team over the past few months.

Standout performances came from Beth Spencer, who was named player of the match, Martine Patey, who scored Reigate Ladies’ Rugby first-ever try, and then followed it up with a second, and Dara Wilson for her fearless and text-book tackling.

Coach Piers Cox, who co-refereed the match, summed it up as follows: “In a nutshell… brilliant! It was a very positive experience for everyone involved and the girls loved it.”
