All Upper Sixth BTEC Travel & Tourism students were invited to attend a lunchtime talk on employment options in the travel industry with Sarah Merry, Reigate Branch Manager of award-winning company C&M Travel Recruitment.

During the engaging presentation, the students heard about the many different roles within the travel industry as well as receiving expert advice about how to increase their chances of employment.

Max Pearman, head of Travel & Tourism at Reigate College, said of the event, “We’re really grateful to Sarah Merry for giving up her time to engage with our students. Everyone who attended found it very informative, particularly in terms of understanding the wide range of jobs available, preparing for interview and what employers look for.”
