Congratulations to the Upper Sixth Film and Media students who won awards at this year’s Reigate Annual Film and Television Awards (RAFTAs), held in the Rispoli Theatre on 6 May.
Now in its eighth year, this glitzy, sell-out, red carpet event in the Rispoli Theatre brought together budding filmmakers, web designers and scriptwriters from across the College’s three Film and Media courses: A Level Film Studies, A Level Media Studies and BTEC Creative Digital Media Production.
This annual celebration of students’ work was once again live-streamed, for parents and anyone missing out on tickets, to watch from home.

Thanks too to our student musical entertainers: Dan Simmons (piano), and band Stultus. Finally, a big shout out to Martin Brown from the premises team who did an amazing job with set up.
Head of Department, Stuart Coppard said; ‘It’s such a great event. I come away feeling very proud to be part of something so special. Seeing students having fun celebrating their successes alongside the College’s Principal, Nick Clark and Film and Media staff, makes for a tremendous night. The department is awash with creativity and professionalism, and the quality of work seems to get better every year!’
