Lower Sixth students had the opportunity to dissect a horse limb on 3 July, in a workshop run by a third year Vet student at Bristol University. This hands-on experience of dissection was created specifically for students on the College’s MVD programme (who are intending to become Medics Vets and Dentists).
Liz Sanders, Head of the MVD Programme at the College explained, “When studying anatomy, nothing surpasses real life dissection to enhance understanding. The students were eager to get involved in this invaluable learning experience, gaining knowledge that will enable them to apply with more confidence to their chosen vocation”
