A massive THANK YOU to all the exhibitors in our further education, higher education and apprenticeship careers fair at Get Ahead Day (March 17). Once again, it was a great opportunity for the Lower Sixth to start their thinking about their next steps after their time with us.
Great to see universities from all across the country represented – including alum Josh Reed who’s at Exeter – putting information and choice in the hands of our students. For those keen to study closer to home there was also a great mix of more local providers.
In our enhanced Apprenticeship Zone we enjoyed saying hello again to our alums Dan Foard, Emilia White, Finlay Truelove, Laura Edney (CMgr MCMI), Luke Major and Matthew Major.
Our elite sporting students found out about American scholarship opportunities with FirstPoint USA and for those keen to take a gap year and learn about volunteering opportunities we were delighted to welcome Oyster Worldwide and Voluntary Action Surrey East.
Thanks to all our staff for delivering this fantastic event, especially our Careers team who have worked hard to bring together such a brilliant cross-section of visitors.
