Christmas ‘Gratitude’ week

Collection of gift bags with donations

The theme of this year’s College Christmas festivities is ‘Gratitude’. During lunchtimes from Monday 9th to Friday 13th December, students will have the chance to get involved in a series of pop-up events. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening when:

  • Monday to Thursday: Get creative with Christmas crafts (origami, paperchains, Christmas cards and decorations) in the Main Refectory, New Refectory and around College (look out for the walking Gratitude tree!)
  • Tuesday: Lower Sixth tutor groups deliver their gift bags for Age Concern to the Main Refectory; live music from Upper Sixth bands in the Main Refectory
  • Wednesday: Elf showing in the New Refectory; biscuit decorating in the Main Refectory
  • Thursday: Upper Sixth tutor groups deliver their donations for Loveworks and the Gambia to the Main Refectory; live music from Upper Sixth bands in the Main Refectory
  • Friday: Christmas jumper day! Gift bags delivered to Age Concern

This year’s three nominated charities are Loveworks, Age Concern and the Gambia appeal.

All events take place at lunchtime 12.45- 2pm.
