The theme of this year’s College Christmas festivities is ‘Gratitude’. During lunchtimes from Monday 9th to Friday 13th December, students will have the chance to get involved in a series of pop-up events. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening when:
- Monday to Thursday: Get creative with Christmas crafts (origami, paperchains, Christmas cards and decorations) in the Main Refectory, New Refectory and around College (look out for the walking Gratitude tree!)
- Tuesday: Lower Sixth tutor groups deliver their gift bags for Age Concern to the Main Refectory; live music from Upper Sixth bands in the Main Refectory
- Wednesday: Elf showing in the New Refectory; biscuit decorating in the Main Refectory
- Thursday: Upper Sixth tutor groups deliver their donations for Loveworks and the Gambia to the Main Refectory; live music from Upper Sixth bands in the Main Refectory
- Friday: Christmas jumper day! Gift bags delivered to Age Concern
This year’s three nominated charities are Loveworks, Age Concern and the Gambia appeal.
All events take place at lunchtime 12.45- 2pm.
