A two-stop trip for the College’s Upper Sixth 3D designers took in both London’s V&A and Design Museums (February 11). These iconic institutions provided a fresh source of primary visual research for their exam project, which accounts for 40% of their final grade.
Particularly valuable was the Design Museum’s sustainability workshop to learn about options for alternative materials in design, while the V&A offered the opportunity to get inspired and informed through a range of design disciplines including jewellery; architecture; set design; metalwork and furniture design.
