Lower Sixth Community Afternoon helps new students settle in

Community Day

Lower Sixth students attended a fun-filled Community Afternoon on Tuesday 18th September to help them settle in and get to know their tutor groups better.

The programme kicked off with a barbeque lunch, followed by a series of tutor-based activities and team-building tasks. There was also plenty of time to enjoy the giant inflatables and play some outdoor games.

The afternoon was part of the College’s commitment to help make the transition from school as easy as possible – and with many students now feeling more at home and making new friends on the day, it certainly went a long way in helping with the settling-in process.
