Lower sixth Digital Media Production students Jayden Reynolds and George Evered assisted on a short film that is being produced by the Film and Media department for the Reigate Business Guild to commemorate the bicentenary of Reigate Tunnel.
The short film, presented by BBC’s Nicholas Owen, will be shown to the general public on a big screen on 8th July as part of a weekend of celebrations including opening the tunnel to an array of veteran cars and horse drawn carriages. Reigate tunnel is the oldest road tunnel in Britain and a plaque will be unveiled to commemorate this British landmark.
Film students Jake Nichols and Leo Burton have also filmed on previous shoots for this production. Upper sixth Digital Media and Music student Jacob Hawkins is currently composing the musical soundtrack for the film …. more on this later.
