‘Virtual’ Politics Event for Applicants: Tuesday 24 November 2020, 4.30pm

UK flag and Big Ben

The first of our series of Virtual Events for Applicants will be hosted by Reigate College’s Head of Politics, Nick de Souza, who also hosts the popular podcast, the A Level Politics Show.

Aimed at all students who may be considering studying Politics at A Level, this hour long event will give a great insight into one of the main themes of the A Level Politics course:‘Is Democracy About to die?’

Nick will deliver a 20 minute talk on this topical subject before a group of current A Level Politics students will go head-to-head in a live debate.  Everyone taking part in the event will then have the chance to vote on whether they are for or against.

Before the event comes to a close, Nick will host a live Q&A for applicants (and parents) – so that he (or students) can answer any questions about the course, or the College more generally.

To join this live session, please reserve a place via www.reigate.ac.uk/applicants-events

The Zoom link and password will be emailed to all participants ahead of the event.
