Our thanks to Chris Binns, Chief Engineer for the Crossrail Programme, who came into College to speak to students interested in careers in Engineering on Wednesday 27th November. As Crossrail’s engineering technical authority, Chris oversees many parts of the Crossrail project including the rail systems, mechanical, electrical and public health systems, architecture and civil engineering.
During the lunchtime talk, Chris highlighted how the design engineering process is fundamental to making a project a success and particularly why this matters when there are challenges and problems along the way.
