British U20 Cross Country, 5000m and 3000m Champion and Psychology undergraduate
Pippa (third from left) trained with top British coach Mick Woods at Aldershot Farnham and District Athletics Club, which is one of the best running clubs in the country. In 2021 Pippa represented Great Britain in the U20 3,000m track and field international competition held at Loughborough University.
Running is forever challenging and changing me as a person – it is a part of me. It’s made me determined, resilient and hard-working, even in the face of adversity and allows me to strive for things that can seem out of reach.

Future Plans
Pippa had offers to study Psychology at Birmingham, Loughborough and Cardiff Universities, all universities with high performance running programmes, but her preferred choice was St Mary’s University in London, as they have an elite running programme that has produced many Olympians. Despite having offers of full scholarships from American Universities, Pippa wanted to remain in England for her undergraduate studies, so as to compete in the key English and UK championship events. She may choose to experience American culture and NCAA competition by doing a Masters degree in the US in the future.
