Competitive Pole Vaulter, now ultra-marathon/adventure racer and rock climber

I knew lots of people who’d been to Reigate College and really enjoyed their time here. It has such a good reputation that it seemed like the obvious choice to me. It also offered all the courses I wanted to take, and I knew they’d had excellent results in previous years.

I’ve always enjoyed science and am very keen on sport. Combining sciences with PE seemed perfect and set me up nicely to study for a Sport and Exercise Science degree at university. The variety of content is so wide that there’s always something to learn about that you’re interested in. In Biology and Chemistry I particularly enjoyed the practical aspect as it helped me to understand what I was learning whilst gaining valuable skills at the same time.

Sport has taught me so many things. It’s made me resilient, dedicated, able to manage my time well and given me a purpose. I have always been passionate about sport: it’s shaped my career and I chose to pursue Sport and Exercise Science. Sport has helped me to meet some of my best friends and some of my best memories have been made whilst partaking in sport.
