Why did you choose Reigate College?

The College offered the music subjects I wanted to study and the facilities and equipment in the Music Department are amazing.

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I’ve always been passionate about music, playing instruments since I was 11 years old. I play the electric guitar, bass and piano and play guitar in a band. I discovered music production through studying A Level Music Technology and I now record and produce music for my band and other songwriter friends.

How did you find the move from school to College?

I found it easy to settle in and make friends, especially as there’s an emphasis on group learning with my subjects. The class sizes are also quite small, making it easier to socialise and make friends early on.

Tell us about any College activities you’ve been involved in outside lessons.

I formed a band when I started at College called Days Notice, a four-piece rock band. I’m the guitarist and also produce the songs that we write and release on streaming platforms. Before the pandemic we played lots of gigs around Surrey. We also performed at the College’s Battle of The Bands last year at the Harlequin Theatre and won, which was amazing.

What are your plans for the future?

I’m going to BIMM Brighton to study Music Production and from there my career goal is to start working in studios, recording and producing for bands and artists.
