Why did you choose Reigate College?

I really wanted a change. Being at the same secondary school for 5 years started to feel quite repetitive and school sixth forms can be quite small with limited subject choices. Reigate had amazing resources, and all the A Levels I wanted to do.

How did you find the move from school to College?

The move was so easy. All my teachers were kind and very passionate about their subjects. Making friends is never as hard as you think it will be. Within the first week, I found myself not even missing secondary school!

What have you enjoyed/are you enjoying most about your courses?

I really enjoy US Politics; it’s so interesting and something new happens every day that is relevant to the Politics course. I also love the plays and novels we study in English and learning about their history.

What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?

I really love all the friends I’ve made, as well as finding people who enjoy the same subjects as me. I also like how independent I’ve become. My College teachers constantly believed in me and pushed me to my full potential; I wouldn’t have dreamt of getting offers from Cambridge and St. Andrews universities in Year 11, but here I am!

What’s your plan for when you leave College?

I’m planning on studying a Politics related degree at university. I’d love to work in diplomacy, human rights law, or Parliament.
