How did you find the move from school to College?

With College being my first ever experience of school, I found the move from home education to College very intense at first.

One of the things that helped me settle in at College was finding and joining the Reigate Christian Union that meet outside the College, plus trying out many of the enrichment activities the College offers, which is where I met a lot of my friends.

Which enrichment activities have you been involved in?

I did table tennis, volleyball, trampolining, as well as many different pop-up activities such as frisbee, rock-painting and origami.

I also attended the Young Carers and Women in STEM clubs, College movie nights and a variety of talks put on by my subjects, MVD or Women in STEM.

I’ve also been on various trips such as one to see a particle accelerator and one to Marwell Zoo.

The College has given me several volunteering opportunities too, such as helping at open evenings, Year 10 MVD and Women in STEM Applicants’ Events, and being involved in the Physics mentoring scheme.

What are you plans for after College?

I’m planning on doing Medicine at Exeter University or Therapeutic Radiography and Oncology at City St George’s, University of London.

Liz has been excellent at preparing us for the rather involved Medicine admission test and Medicine School interviews.
