What have you enjoyed most about your courses?
It’s been good doing BTEC Computing alongside two A Levels – as you can pass it as you go along which helps take the pressure off a bit around A Level exam time. It’s also good for helping you organise your time better and getting higher marks overall.
How have you found the teaching and support staff?
The staff at Reigate are incredibly supportive and helpful, ensuring you understand things fully, and they are happy to be contacted via email outside lesson time.
Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in
A friend and I created a podcast called ‘In Context’ on Spotify, as an enrichment club. We recorded episodes in the College’s Castlefield Studio that explored things like AI and Apple-related topics. Being involved in the production of the podcast was a great way of increasing our areas of interest, while improving our planning and public speaking skills.
What’s your plan for when you leave College?
I’m waiting to hear if I’ve got onto an apprenticeship programme and if not, I have offers to study Economics at university.
