How did you find the move from school to College?
Moving to College has helped me become my own person. Everybody is nervous when they first start, but the Freshers’ party and taster days are great icebreakers. It immediately felt like a safe and welcoming environment, which led to me both making friends and getting familiar with College life quickly.
What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?
I like being treated as an adult and encouraged to develop independent learning skills. The environment has given me the confidence to share my thoughts and ask for help when I need it. As the College has lots of students the same age, it’s easy to find people you love spending time with, which lends itself to a good social life.
What’s your plan for when you leave College?
I’m hoping to study Fine Art at Newcastle University, so as to develop as an artist and enhance my understanding of the industry and the creative pathway I wish to pursue.
