Why did you choose to study a language?
I chose French A Level as I did both Spanish and French at GCSE and loved the idea of studying French in more depth, while learning more about French culture.
How have you found the teaching and support staff?
I really enjoy French. I love that we study both a movie and novel in class and that I’m constantly learning new things about French culture in my lessons. My teacher is a great support and I always get feedback on my assessments, so I know where I need to improve.
What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?
I love all the different enrichment activities the College has – such as the annual Equality and Community Day and the various cake sales. It’s really nice to have the opportunity to take part in things that aren’t work or course based.
What’s your plan for when you leave College?
Despite loving French I’d like to study Psychology at university and go into teaching or get a job as a CBT therapist. After getting my degree, I’d like to travel for a year or two, so as to see more of the world – learning new languages and finding out about different cultures.
