How did you decide which subjects to study?
I’ve always been interested in the human body, science and sport and I knew I wanted to specialise in a medical-related career in the future, and Biology, Chemistry and Maths are accepted subjects for all medical-based degrees.
Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in
I was part of the College’s Women’s Football team which I really enjoyed and was something I made many new friends through.
I was also part of the College’s Aspire Programme and had the opportunity to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). This developed my independent research and referencing skills – useful skills for both university and future employment.
What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?
The facilities are excellent, particularly the Independent Learning Centre (ILC). The course content is taught well, and the teaching methods and independence that’s nurtured provide a vital stepping stone between school and further education. The College also provides a perfect balance between education and social life.
What’s your plan for when you leave College?
I hope to study Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bath and plan to work in medical research.
