Why did you choose Reigate College?

I really liked the sound of the Musical Theatre course at the College and the more independent style of learning which I think bridges the gap between school and university really well.

How did you find the move from school to College?

My teachers really helped with the transition from school to College. We’re given lots of support with how to manage our time and complete work more independently. I found it very easy to settle in and there are so many opportunities to meet new people.

How have you found the teaching and support?

A Levels can be really challenging, but there are many ways to get support, such as Plus Classes, drop-in sessions and accessing the PowerPoints used in lessons. The teachers are always open to answer any questions you offer extra help you if you get stuck. The Careers staff were also really helpful, especially with giving advice on writing my personal statement.

Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in

One of my main enrichment activities was being a part of the College musical Sister Act – an amazing show and a brilliant opportunity to meet lots of new people. I also joined the Street and Commercial Dance Club, and through doing this, I got to take part in the College dance show Hot Feet.

What’s your plan for when you leave College?

When I leave College I’m planning on studying Psychology. I’m not sure what I want to do after that yet, but College Careers events at College have given me an insight into lots of potential career opportunities in Psychology.
