How did you find the move from school to College?

The move was straight forward as the staff were all very supportive, so I settled in very quickly. I also met lots of people in Music through extra-curricular activities, and formed new bands based on our shared interests.

Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in

I’ve been involved with many activities within the Music department, such as playing at New Music Nights and at Reigate Summer Festival with my bands, and also taking part in the Music For Youth Festival and College concerts with the choir and session orchestra.

I’ve enjoyed all these experiences as they’ve helped me improve my performance skills.

I also completed an EPQ on Politics within popular music, which helped me improve my research and essay writing skills.

What’s your plan for when you leave College? 

I have a place to study Music Technology at the University of Sussex. I’d like to go into a career in Sound Engineering, working in a studio as an Engineer. I’ve known I’ve wanted to work in Music since primary school.
