Why did you choose Reigate College?

I knew the College had an excellent academic reputation and is regularly placed in the top ten of UK colleges, but the main factor for me was its successful MVD programme, for aspiring Medics, Vets and Dentists.

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

Biology and Chemistry are required subjects for almost all medical schools, and I chose Maths and Psychology as they are relevant to Medicine too.

Tell us about any College Enrichment you’ve been involved in

I’ve been on the College’s MVD Programme since the Lower Sixth which has been incredibly useful in helping me stand the best possible chance of gaining a place to study Medicine.

Some examples of things I’ve benefitted from include hearing about hot medical topics; guidance on being a reflective student and practitioner; tailored feedback on my personal statement and opportunities such as taking part in ‘Operating Live.’

I’ve also taken part in various clubs such as 5-a-side football, Badminton, Table Tennis and Basketball. Enrichment activities are a great way to wind down and meet new like-minded people.
