Why did you choose Reigate College?
The College was the best fit for me, as it bridged the gap between secondary school and university. I liked not having to wear a uniform and having more control over my studies.
Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved with
In the Lower Sixth, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), through the Aspire Programme. Doing an EPQ was a real highlight. As well as gaining an extra qualification, the EPQ gives you the chance to develop essay-writing, independent learning and time management skills. It also meant I carried out interesting research on Women in WWII.
What do you think makes Reigate College a good place to be a student?
The College helps you become a confident, independent student, taking responsibility for own own success. Spaces like the Independent Learning Centre provide the perfect location for independent study during free periods.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m planning on studying Law at university. After that I’d like to complete the SQE to become a Solicitor, with the hope of moving into Environmental Law, or the Law of Armed Conflict.
