How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I was keen to do a mixture of A Level and BTEC courses. I realised Product Design would help me express my passion for design and expand my creativity.

How did you find the move from school to College?

At first, it felt like a big step, but I very quickly got to know my teachers, made new friends and discovered both Reigate High Street and the College’s clubs.

What have you enjoyed/are you enjoying most about your courses?

In Product Design, I’ve really enjoyed my Personal Investigation Project as it’s given me the opportunity to use lots of new equipment and show off my skills, to create a final piece I’m really proud of.

What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?

I like the freedom we’re given as students, such as being able to go into town during our free lessons or at lunchtime.

What are your plans for the future?

I plan to go to Bath Spa University to study Product and Furniture Design. I’m very excited to be entering this new chapter of my life.
