This student also studied the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Public Services which is no longer available at Reigate College.
How and why did you decide which subjects to study?
I’m much better with coursework than exams, which is why I chose the BTEC route. I’m planning on joining the Metropolitan Police so BTEC Public Services and Law were obvious choices for me. I also chose Sport as I’ve always been a keen sports player.
What have you enjoyed most about your courses?
I’ve enjoyed the practical sessions in my BTEC Sport and Public Services courses along with the trips, especially the paintball trip.
How have you found the support at College?
The support at Reigate is brilliant. If you have a problem, no matter how big or small there is always someone available to help. The Careers Team has been especially supportive, helping me with my CV and applying to university.
Have you been involved in any extra-curricular activities?
I helped set up, build and then captained the Ladies’ Rugby Team in my Lower Sixth. In my second year I continued to play Rugby along with playing Volleyball, Table Tennis and Badminton during my lunch times.
I was also a College Sports Activator and am proud to say I won the ‘Sports Activator of the Year Award’.
