Why did you choose Reigate College?
I liked the idea of being able to take a mixture of A Levels and BTECs and being in a more grown-up environment. The facilities at College are amazing, especially the Dramatic Arts Centre.
How did you find the move from school to College?
It was a really easy transition and the teachers and staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We had ice breakers in lessons to get to know other classmates better and extra support was always there if needed.
What have you enjoyed/are you enjoying most about your courses?
I’ve really enjoyed the practical aspect of Dance. It’s opened my eyes to a wide range of dance styles and encouraged me to become a more rounded dancer. The focus on performance skills really helped enhance my dance routines and doing the choreography for smaller groups of the class taught me how to develop my ideas.
What do you think makes Reigate College good place to be a student?
The College offers students the freedom to grow and take responsibility for both studies and time management. I also like the fact that when you join, everyone is in the same boat, moving on from school to sixth form. It’s a new start for everyone.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m going to the University of Southampton to study Psychology but I definitely want to keep up with my dancing by getting involved in university clubs and productions.
