How and why did you decide which subjects to study?
I went to Open Evenings and taster days and researched the courses on the Reigate College website. I thought they were interesting and would help me gain valuable skills that will help me in the future.
What have you enjoyed most about your courses?
I’ve enjoyed applying theory to real life, for example in Physics we do experiments to test theories and hypothesis and you get to consider their application in the real world.
In Computer Science we learn how to program as well as learning how a computer works.
I like how you can create software with programming – from games, to websites and various applications.
Maths is great for developing your problem-solving skills which I can then apply to Physics and Computer Science.
Have you been involved in any extra-curricular activities?
I’ve taken part in a few lunchtime activities including self-defence, table tennis and badminton. They’ve been a great way of disconnecting from my studies for a bit, as well as being a way of meeting new people and having fun.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m planning on studying either Computer Science or Electronic Engineering at King’s college or Queen Mary University of London.
