Why did you choose Reigate College?
I wanted a change from my old school and a chance to experience a new environment and meet new people.
How and why did you decide which subjects to study?
I chose Maths and Product Design (3D Design) because I wanted to pursue a career in Architecture. As for Philosophy, on one of the open days I met Mike, the head of department, and learnt about the course – the religious part of the course really intrigued me.
How did you find the move from school to College?
Being in an entirely new environment and having to meet lots of new people was difficult at first, but it was definitely made easier by all the pre-enrolment events at College.
What have you enjoyed most about your courses?
Maths A Level is a really well-structured course and easy to follow. For both Product Design (3D Design) and Philosophy, I’ve had the same teachers throughout, which has given me a chance to get to know them really well.
What do you think makes Reigate College a good place to be a student?
The fact that the teachers are completely focused on teaching A Levels (or equivalent) to year 12s and 13s only. This is one of the main reasons why I chose College over my school sixth form
What are your plans for the future?
I’m going to university (Bath is my first choice) to study Architecture to follow a career as an Architect.
