Please note in addition to Luca doing the subjects listed above, he also took A Level Drama & Theatre Studies which has now been replaced by BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts (Acting). 

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I knew I wanted to go into a career in Musical Theatre so I took subjects that would help me on my way.

How did you find the move from school to College?

Very easy. I knew I needed a change of scenery, and with the subjects I was studying I found lots of like-minded people, who all just clicked!

What have you enjoyed most about your courses?

All the opportunities I’ve been given to perform.

How have you found the teaching and support staff?

Fantastically supportive. Not being overly academic, I find the exam aspect of my courses difficult, but my teachers have been nothing but helpful and guided me through brilliantly.

Tell us about any College activities you’ve been involved in outside of lessons.

I’ve been involved in all the Cross-College shows, most recently Sweeney Todd, for which I worked as Musical Director. This was an amazing experience as I’d never musically directed before so it was a fantastic learning opportunity for me.

What do you think makes Reigate College good place to be a student?

The facilities and opportunities at Reigate are incomparable. The staff are also amazing.

What are your plans for the future?

I’ve got a place at Chichester University to study Musical Theatre, so my next three years will be spent there. Then I’ll start auditioning, with the hope of kick-starting my career as a musical theatre performer.
