How did you decide which subjects to study?

I chose the subjects I enjoy the most and the ones that would give me the best chance of doing Engineering at university.

What have you enjoyed most about your courses?

Studying just three subjects means you go into much more depth in each subject compared to GCSEs. I’ve particularly enjoyed how the Physics course is applied to real-life scenarios, which makes it much more interesting.

How have you found the support at College?

All my subject teachers have gone the extra mile to help me progress through College. They’ve always been willing to see me outside lesson time to answer questions and are available over email – including outside College hours – when I’m studying at home. They also really helped me with my personal statement for uni and made good suggestions as to how I could improve it.

Have you been involved in any clubs or activities?

I’ve done my Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award through College and the support I got really motivated me to get everything finished. The expedition was a lot of fun, despite the rain!

What would you say to anyone thinking about coming to Reigate College but worried about fitting in?

There is a huge diversity of people at Reigate College so you are bound to meet people with similar interests.
