Why did you choose Reigate College?

The student community at Reigate College has a reputation of being welcoming and the teachers helpful and inspiring. It hasn’t disappointed.

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I want to work in the Creative Arts industry, so I chose my subjects based around that. I’d had previous experience of each of my subjects so knew I’d find them interesting.

How did you find the move from school to College?

Moving to Reigate College was an awesome experience. I quickly made new friends and adapted to the positive environment, which I much preferred to the school culture. At College, all students are treated as adults with the responsibility and dignity that this brings.

What have you enjoyed most about your courses?

I’ve enjoyed generally having the freedom to be as creative as I want – choosing the media and topics that I want to explore. In Art at the moment, I’m working on animation and exploring the topic of isolation during the pandemic.

How have you found the teaching and support staff?

My teachers have been amazing. The advice they give is brilliant and they are helpful when things don’t go to plan. I’ve appreciated their input so much.

What are your plans for the future?

I’m going to university to study a degree in Animation. Ultimately I’d love to work in the Animation industry – whether movies, TV shows or in some other area.
