What prompted you to get involved in the SU?

I really like working in a team so I thought it would be a great way to meet new people and help improve College life.

What have you got out of it?

I’ve had such a great year, from working with different charities, to arranging guest speakers and organising fundraising bake sale. I feel like our Students’ Union has made a real difference in both the College and local community.

Would you recommend getting involved in the SU to other students? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend being part of the SU, it’s so rewarding. Helping plan and organise events like the Freshers’ Party was a great experience and gave me the opportunity to develop new skills.
